The Ukrainian energy company UkrEnergo reported damage to energy facilities in the southern, central and southwestern regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by OkrEnergo on its official channel in the Telegram application, where the company reported a large deficit in the system and set electricity consumption limits in all regions.
An air raid alert was issued throughout Ukraine, and local media reported several explosions in Odessa, Kyiv, and Vennitsa. The authorities of the Odessa region also reported damage to two vital infrastructure facilities, and the Kyiv regional military administration reported on the consequences of the accident.
The Russian army began bombing Ukrainian military infrastructure on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which the secret services of the Kyiv regime stand. At the same time, strikes are carried out exclusively on energy, defense industry, command and control and communications facilities. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced every day in some areas, and sometimes throughout Ukraine.
Last November, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmihal said that almost half of the country’s energy system was out of order, and President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that it is currently impossible to fully restore the energy system.
