Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russian diplomacy is aware that it is useless to engage in proving the West wrong, as this leads to counterproductive results.
Zakharova added: “We understand that this does not bring any value and simply no result, as is the case, for example, with the countries of the West, the collective West, unfriendly countries that have closed. There is no point in knocking on a closed door.. Now it is useless. Trying to prove them wrong is counterproductive.”
Zakharova noted that where Russian diplomacy has the opportunity to develop relations profitably and on the basis of mutual respect, diplomatic efforts and international activity increase there.
