Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that a Pakistani living in the United States has donated $30 million to families affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Sharif wrote on his Twitter account, “I was deeply moved by the example of an unknown Pakistani who walked into the Turkish Embassy in the US and donated $30 million to the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.”
He added: “These charitable works enable humanity to overcome difficulties that seem insurmountable.”
