Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley confirmed that it is too early to say when F-16 fighters or other modern aircraft will be used in combat in Ukraine.
“It is too early to give a specific date for the participation of the F-16 or any other type of modern aircraft in the battles in Ukraine,” Milley said at a press conference.
Two days ago, a Polish expert, former commander of the Polish Land Forces, General Waldemar Schipchak, said that Ukraine would receive F-16 fighters within 2-3 months.
“The training of Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 has been going on for a long time … In my opinion, within 2-3 months Ukraine will have F-16 fighters, because Ukrainian pilots are undoubtedly already ready for them.”, – added Schipchak in media statement.
It is noteworthy that the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, previously told the Novosti agency that the West is working to expand the number and range of offensive weapons provided to the Kiev regime, indicating that this is due to the determination of Washington and its allies to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
In turn, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasyl Nebenzya, pointed out earlier during a meeting of the UN Security Council that “the Ukrainian people are forced to fight in order to fulfill the tasks of others, and Ukraine itself has become a military NATO company.”
As for the Kremlin, its spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said that the United States continues the policy of a fait accompli and an indirect fight against Russia until the last citizen of Ukraine.
