The iOS 16.4 update, which will be made available to the general public very soon, will reportedly provide voice isolation for cellular calls, as stated in notes that Apple has just now made public.

Apple claims that turning on Voice Isolation will prioritize your voice and block out the ambient noise around you, resulting in clearer phone calls in which you and the person you are conversing with can hear each other more clearly.

Voice Isolation is now accessible for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calls made through FaceTime, WhatsApp, and other applications for devices running iOS 15 or macOS Sierra or later. It was developed to dramatically improve the microphone quality when on calls by lowering the background noise level. Until now, it was not possible to use it for cellular talks because Apple did not provide any means to enhance the quality of a call.

It is possible to engage Voice Isolation during a FaceTime connection by activating the control center, tapping on the Mic Mode option, and selecting the Voice Isolation option; hence, the functionality may be activated in a manner analogous to that described above for voice calls.

Additional highlights in iOS 16.4 include newly added emojis, Push Notifications for web apps, bug fixes for HomeKit, optimizations for Crash Detection, and more.
