Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic considered that the conflict in Ukraine would continue for more than a year, and the coming winter would be the hardest in history.
Vučić said that, in his assessment, the positions of Russia and Ukraine on the line of contact “have stabilized.”
He added: “It’s complicated. We expect this war to continue next year and that the winter (2023-2024) will be the hardest in history.”
After the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, Vučić, in an address to his people, said that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but will not impose sanctions against Russia.
