The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reacted to the statement of the Minister of Culture of Lithuania Simonas Keres about the need to “quarantine Russian culture” and stressed that he needs to be in mental quarantine for a long time.
“Simonas, minister of non-culture, I can make you happy. Judging by your statements, you have been in mental quarantine for a long time, ”Zakharova said.
She added sarcastically, “Kerys’ statement deserves an international prize, whether it’s a Nobel or a Darwin.”
Earlier, Keres told LRT TV that he supported the idea of imposing a “mental quarantine on Russian culture.”
