President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Norway has allocated $100 million to restore the energy system of Ukraine.

“There is important news from Norway. There is a new $100 million support package to restore our energy system,” Zelensky said. “We are receiving defense, economic and political support and humanitarian aid from Norway. Norway is also helping to buy gas.”

Earlier, Zelensky said, about 40 percent of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure was damaged, leading to major power outages.
