The Algerian Capital Union on Saturday secured the first continental title in its history by winning the African Confederation Cup despite losing 0-1 to their guest, the young Africans of Tanzania, in the second leg. Last round.

The USMA capitalized on its 2-1 win in Tanzania, to the delight of the tens of thousands of its supporters who gathered at 5th of July Stadium.

USMA became the first Algerian team to win the championship in its modern form, which was launched in 2004.
