Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati congratulated Morocco on their “historic” 3-0 victory over Spain on penalties in the match that brought them to the 2022 World Cup round of 16 in Qatar.

Mikati wrote via his official Twitter account: “We congratulate the Moroccan team for reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup.”

He continued, “Congratulations and best wishes for the final victory.”

On the other hand, the Lebanese club Al-Ansar congratulated the Moroccan national team and Moroccan fans, as well as the Al-Najma club, which congratulated the Arabs and Moroccans on the victory of the Atlas Lions.
