Paris-based private equity firm Ardian and Mubadala Capital, the UAE-based asset management arm of Mubadala, said they are building a $2.1 billion private equity partnership.
The two companies announced in a joint statement that Ardian will invest in a portfolio of private equity assets managed by Mubadala Capital and is committed to contributing primarily to its private equity funds.
As part of the deal, both companies will select a portfolio of 10 limited liability companies with a group of partners primarily in North America and Europe, in addition to six direct investments.
