Real Madrid director of institutional relations Emilio Butragueño said all possibilities are possible when he faces Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals.

“These two teams know each other well and we have met the Blues a lot,” Butragueño said in statements released by Sport newspaper.

He added: “Chelsea are a longtime rival and a strong opponent on an individual and collective level. We are aware of the complexity of the confrontation and look forward to it.”

And he continued: “Chelsea knocked out Real Madrid earlier and we did the same and therefore both sides are equal. I hope that this time the luck factor will be with us.”

Butragueño noted that “Real Madrid can face any opponent if the Merengue is in a normal state.”

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, which took place today, Friday, at the FIFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, resulted in a strong showdown between Real Madrid and Chelsea.
